W-L Construction & Paving, Inc., was started in 1968 by two friends, D.C. Walker and Jerry Lewis for the purpose of performing excavation and paving. Ten years later the company formally incorporated. Today, W-L Construction & Paving, Inc. employs over 250 employees with 10 Asphalt plants throughout Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.
